Function:

The compact filling unit includes two shut-off valves, a filter, a BA-type controllable reduced-pressure backflow preventer, and an automatic filling unit. The device must be installed on the water supply piping of closed-loop heating systems; its primary function is to stabilize the system pressure at a preset value by automatically replenishing the water level. The backflow preventer is installed in accordance with EN 1717 to prevent any backflow of water from the heating system, which may be contaminated and hazardous to human health. The unit includes an insulation jacket.
