Double coil storage tank and DHW heat exchangers with instant DHW production via stainless steel coil.

Function:

Storage of hot water for heating (radiators and/or underfloor heating)
Instantaneous production of domestic hot water

The ECO COMBI 3 is used to store heating water while producing instant domestic hot water in an integrated manner.
It can use up to 3 different thermal energy sources, plus an auxiliary electric backup.
It optimizes the operation of boilers that operate intermittently: wood and biomass boilers, as well as solar thermal systems.
It is at the heart of modern renewable energy use.

Construction:

Socket provided for electric backup 1 316L stainless steel coil for DHW
production BSE range: 2 steel tube heat exchangers for hydraulic separation of circuits. (glycol circuits)

Connections:

  • 4x2 main connections
  • 5 connections for probes, thermometers (1/2" female)
  • Labyrinth deflectors for excellent stratification
  • 1 connection for electric backup

Functional advantages:

The stainless steel corrugated hose technology prevents limescale deposits (the inner surface is smooth, the flow is turbulent), the system is flexible and the connection is particularly well suited. These features ensure the longevity of the system. No problems with pressure differences between the storage tank and the inside of the stainless steel coil.
The low volume of domestic hot water stored and the high temperatures guarantee health and safety with regard to the risk of bacterial growth. Temperature
stratification is well marked, which ensures the proper functioning of solar thermal systems.
The hot water storage volume is large, due to the small size of the domestic hot water production hose. The multitude of possible connections and different combinations make the ECO
COMBI a truly universal solution to energy storage problems.

Installation:

Heating systems must be installed in accordance with best practice, including the installation of an expansion tank, safety valves, temperature control and management systems, etc.
The specifications of manufacturers of solar panels, wood boilers, etc. must be followed.
The sanitary network must be installed in accordance with best practice and current legislation, with the installation of a safety unit at the inlet to the coil and, if possible, a VEXBAL sanitary expansion tank, which will absorb the expansion of the hot water, preventing the unit from leaking.
As domestic hot water temperatures can be extremely high, it is mandatory to install a thermostatic mixer at the outlet of the ECO COMBI.
The "solar" model, capable of continuously withstanding very high temperatures, is strongly recommended.

A DHW network recycling loop is strongly recommended for optimum operation.
