The ECO COMBI is designed to store heating water while simultaneously producing instant domestic hot water.
It can utilize up to two different thermal energy sources, plus an electric backup.
It ensures optimized operation of boilers with intermittent operation: wood and biomass boilers, as well as solar thermal systems.
It is at the heart of modern renewable energy systems.

Construction:

  • Insulation: Unclassified injected polyurethane with low heat loss for the 200, 300, and 600-liter models; polyester fibers with a low thermal conductivity coefficient and a thickness of 110 to 205 mm for the other models.
  • Fire rating B-sd0, according to Euroclass EN13501
  • Exterior coating: The exterior coating is gray PVC

Socket provided for electric top-up 1 316L stainless steel coil for DHW
production BSE range: 1 steel tube heat exchanger for hydraulic separation of circuits. (glycol circuits)

Connections:

  • 4x2 main connections
  • 5 connections for sensors and thermometers (1/2" female)
  • Labyrinth baffles for excellent stratification
  • 1 connection for electric top-up

Functional advantages:

The corrugated stainless steel tube technology prevents limescale buildup (the inner surface is smooth, and flow is turbulent); the system is flexible and the mounting is particularly well-suited. These features ensure the system’s longevity. No issues with pressure differences between the storage tank and the interior of the stainless steel coil.
The low volume of stored domestic hot water and the high temperatures ensure sanitary safety against the risk of bacterial growth. Temperature
stratification is pronounced, ensuring the proper operation of solar thermal systems.
The hot water storage volume is substantial, due to the compact size of the domestic hot water supply hose. The wide range of possible connections and various combinations make the ECO
COMBI a truly universal solution to energy storage challenges.

Installation:

Heating system safety must be ensured in accordance with best practices, including the installation of an expansion tank, safety valves, and temperature control and management systems…
The specifications of manufacturers of solar panels, wood-fired boilers, etc., must be followed.
The plumbing system must be installed in accordance with best practices and applicable regulations, including the installation of a safety group at the coil inlet and, if possible, a VEXBAL plumbing expansion tank, which will absorb the expansion of hot water, preventing the system from leaking.
Since domestic hot water temperatures can be extremely high, it is mandatory to install a thermostatic mixing valve at the ECO COMBI outlet.
The "solar" model, capable of continuously withstanding very high temperatures, is strongly recommended.

A DHW recirculation loop is strongly recommended for optimal operation.
