Function:

In heating systems, the mixing tank allows:‐ To increase the system’s water volume, thereby limiting the number of burner starts, resulting in improved efficiency.
‐ To operate with different water temperatures: Return
water from a radiant floor heating system is reheated before returning to the boiler.
‐ Hydraulic
decoupling‐ Sludge settling
‐ To bleed air
In HVAC systems, the mixing tank allows:
‐ To increase the system’s water volume, thereby limiting the number of times the chiller unit starts up, resulting in improved efficiency.
In systems with a heat pump (single-function or boiler backup), the tank serves as a hydraulic interface and acts as a buffer tank.

Supplied without caps—stainless steel caps available as an option.
