Operation:

When a single installation has a primary circuit equipped with its own pump and a secondary circuit with one or more distribution pumps, interactions between the pumps may occur in certain cases, creating abnormal variations in flow rate and differential pressure in the circuits.
The hydraulic separator creates an area with reduced pressure loss, making the primary and secondary circuits hydraulically independent.
Thus, the flow rates of the respective circuits depend exclusively on the flow characteristics of the pumps.
When using such a device, there is only flow in the secondary circuit when the pump(s) in that circuit are in operation, allowing the installation to meet the specific load requirements at that moment.
