Surfusion process:

Replacing the vapor barrier film, the surfacing technique involves hardening the top layer of styrene by applying hot steam under pressure. This process, used in the manufacture of Certiboard studded decking, provides enhanced mechanical resistance to foot traffic and challenging installation conditions.

Specifications and applications:

  • EPS insulation board used as a thermal barrier for the installation of water-based heated or cooled floating screeds, utilizing synthetic pipes embedded in concrete.
  • This panel complies with the requirements of standard NF EN 13 163:2013.
  • It meets the specifications of RT2012, NF EN 1264, NF DTU 52.10, and NF DTU 65-14, as well as CPT 3164: reversible floors.
  • Classification: SC1a2ACh.
  • Impact noise reduction: Δ LW ≥ 18 dB.
  • Certified thermal resistance: 0.75 to 2.40 (m²·K)/W.
  • Certification No.: CSTBat 144-278.
  • Pad height: 18 mm.
  • Usable area: 0.96 m².
  • 10 cm installation spacing.
