Functional characteristics:

  • Maximum operating pressure 10 bar
  • Temperature range 0 / 110°C
  • Fluid: water, water + glycol (max. 50%)
  • Air evacuation via an integrated automatic float valve system.
  • DISCALDIRT units are equipped with a lower outlet (B) for flushing, as well as a valve in the upper part (A) to allow air to be flushed out during filling and rinsing operations.

Construction:

  • Screw-in model
  • 3/4", 1", and 1-1/4" FF brass body
  • Without magnetic ring.
  • Internal screen
  • EPDM gaskets

Installation:

Must be installed on a horizontal pipe.

Operating principle:

DISCAL combines several physical principles: a large body that reduces the speed of water flow, a stainless steel grid to which microbubbles attach, and a drain mechanism with a needle valve ("above water") for complete evacuation of collected air.
