Installation:

The sedimentation tank must be installed on the return pipe, observing the flow direction indicated by an arrow on the body of the sedimentation tank. It must always be in a vertical position, with the drain valve facing downward.

Operating principle:

The DIRTMAGSLIM magnetic settling tank separates and collects impurities present in the system using an internal baffle (1) positioned in the fluid flow path. This specific component creates turbulence (2) in the water, channeling impurities into the settling chamber (3) where, due to the “calm state,” the particles remain trapped and cannot recirculate into the system (patented system ensuring low pressure drop). Ferrous particles are retained inside the settling chamber by magnets housed in the ring. The collected impurities are discharged via the drain valve (5). This operation can be performed while the system is in operation, taking care to maintain pressure in the relevant network. It is not possible to inject additional liquid through this settling tank.
