Description:

Series 130 Electronic Pressure Measurement Device.
The electronic measurement device is an essential tool during the balancing phase of hydraulic systems.
The system consists of a differential pressure (ΔP) sensor and a remote control unit (terminal) featuring the Caleffi Balance programming software. This unit can be supplied or replaced by an Android® device by downloading the app.
The differential pressure sensor communicates via Bluetooth®.
The software also contains data for most commercially available manual balancing valves.

Operating principle

The operator selects the balancing valve from the list available on the terminal (manufacturer, model, dimensions, and position with corresponding Kv). The valve data, along with the measured pressure drop (ΔP), serve as the basis for calculating the flow rate, which is displayed on the terminal screen. If the valve is not listed in the database, its Kv value can be entered manually.

Measurement Method

The device allows you to choose between 3 measurement methods:

  1. Fixed-position measurement. Displays the flow rate calculated by the device based on the selected valve and its position.
  2. Set flow measurement. The valve’s set position is calculated to achieve the desired flow rate.
  3. Simple DP measurement. The screen displays the differential pressure value measured by the sensor.
