Function:

Installing a quick-connect fitting between the expansion tank and the hydraulic connection to the primary circuit allows you to:


• Perform periodic checks of the expansion tank’s pre-charge pressure quickly and easily without draining the system;
• Drain the primary circuit if the expansion tank is installed at the lowest point of the system;
• Control the recovery of the heat transfer fluid that flows out during these operations.

Wall-mounted expansion tanks can be attached directly to this device.
