Gebetanche sealant, for fuel gas and compressed air

Function:

Anaerobic PTFE sealing resin that ensures the sealing of metal threaded connections.

  • Sealing of combustible gas circuits (butane, propane, natural gas, etc.) and compressed air.
  • The fittings must be "gas fittings" of the ISO 7 type (with a tapered male end), featuring a thread seal.

  • Minimum application temperature: 10°C and above
  • Open time on APZn M10 bolts: 5–30 minutes (depending on temperature and clearance)
  • Setting time on steel: 20 to 40 min
  • Full cure time: 1 to 3 hours

Standards:

  • GEBETANCHE GAZ has been tested by GDF (Test Report No. 93-30 97) and approved by AFNOR for use on gas appliances
  • Complies with standard EN 751-1 Class H: it can therefore be used on gas lines (butane, propane, city gas) for 10 mm fittings
