GEB 100% PTFE thread sealant for metal and plastic threaded fittings, 80 m

Technical specifications:

• Material: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) – 100%
• Color: White
• Sealing of fittings: Up to 1 ½” (40 x 49) on fittings with a tapered male end (ISO 7) – Metal, plastic, or mixed metal/plastic fittings.
• Maximum pressure/maximum temperature: 15 bar and 120°C with water (with or without additives).
• PTFE material alone has good dimensional stability from –260°C to +260°C.
• Compatibility with transported fluids:
  - water intended for human consumption
  - hot and cold
  water -
  heating water - glycol-based and treated
  water -
  hydrocarbons - common gases (compressed air, steam, butane, propane, city gas)
• Pressurization: Immediate
• Disassembly: Easy

Installation:

• Fittings must be clean, dry, and free of grease.

Instructions for use:

• Wind the thread starting from the end of the fitting, following the direction of the thread and applying slight tension. It is recommended to focus the winding primarily on the end of the fitting; it is not necessary to
  follow the entire length of the thread.
• Apply the recommended number of wraps and cut the wire using the notch provided for this purpose on the packaging.
• Insert the fitting and screw it in.
• Tighten with a wrench.
