GEBSICONE W white or translucent silicone sealant in a cartridge

Function:

Acetic silicone sealant with fungistatic effect (protection against mold) - Special sanitary grade.

  • Elastic sealant for use around sanitary fixtures: sinks, washbasins, shower pans, bathtubs, kitchen sinks, laboratory benches, and any areas where moisture could promote mold growth.
  • The presence of an effective fungicide prevents the development of those black stains that make the seal look dirty.
  • For applications on synthetic, acrylic, or composite materials, or on natural stone (marble, granite after testing), use GEBSICONE W2.
  • Do not use for aquariums (fungicides are dangerous for fish); use translucent GEBSICONE S.

Preparation:

  • Surfaces must be dry, dust-free, and degreased.

Instructions for use:

  • For joints that are too deep, reduce the depth using cellular foam. In general, the depth of the joint should be less than half its width (without protruding).
  • Cut the tip of the nozzle to a diameter slightly smaller than that of the joint, then apply the product.
  • Smooth the joint, for example using the GEB joint smoother, no later than 5 minutes after application.
  • Do not apply the sealant if the temperature is below +5°C or above +40°C.
