GEB Silicone Grease

Function:

Grease based on silicone oil and inert fillers, water-repellent, temperature-resistant, and resistant to many chemicals:

  • Lubrication of plumbing fixtures.
  • Lubrication of valves and fittings operating at very high or very low temperatures, or in the presence of steam or corrosive chemicals in industrial and laboratory settings.
  • Water-repellent: can be used on devices used to convey hot aqueous solutions.
  • Prevents limescale in the water from depositing on lubricated parts

Available in: 20g or 125ml tube or 650ml aerosol

Technical specifications:

  • Appearance: Translucent paste
  • Density: 1
  • Worked penetration: 220
  • Penetration after 24-hour rest: 200
  • Exudation after 24 hours at 200 °C: <8%
  • Operating temperature range: -40 °C to +200 °C
  • Very low variation in consistency with temperature
  • Good resistance to solvents except non-polar solvents such as gasoline or mineral spirits, which may be used for cleaning. However, this grease does not wash off easily.
  • High resistance to many chemicals except concentrated acids and bases, oxygen, ozone, peroxides, and strong oxidizing agents
  • It remains unchanged upon contact with mineral and vegetable oils, air, and almost all gases.

Application:

  • Thoroughly clean and degrease the equipment to be lubricated

Instructions for use:

  • Apply directly with your finger or a spatula

Standards:

  • Compliance with Positive Lists: 12 CLP NY 010
  • Compliant with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements: NSF H1
  • Lubricant for incidental contact
  • Approved by WRAS according to BS6920 for use in contact with water, even hot water up to 85°C, under reference 1212510
