  • Type: Grease made from lithium soap, mineral oil, and molybdenum disulfide
  • Color: Black

  • Maximum operating temperature: 175 °C

Application:

  • For a gas appliance
    shut-off valve:- Turn off the meter
    - Bleed the system by leaving a burner open.
    - Remove the valve head and clean it.
  • For a stove
    valve:- Remove the knob

Instructions:

  • For a gas appliance
    shut-off valve:- Apply a moderate amount of S6959 GREASE around the valve stem
    .- Reassemble the valve head and operate the valve several times to distribute the grease evenly.
    - Open the meter and ensure the valve does not leak using a LEAK DETECTOR. (aerosol leak detector)
  • For a stove
    valve:- Apply grease between the fixed
    and moving parts of the valve. - Do not apply too much grease to prevent it from entering the valve’s orifices.
