Thermostatic mixers for residential or commercial installations. The 5217 mixers are installed either under the water heater or at the entrance to bathrooms and showers to ensure user comfort and safety.

Functional specifications:

  • Mixing water temperature range: 30–50°C
  • Accuracy: +/- 2%
  • Max. static pressure: 10 bar / Dynamic pressure: 5 bar
  • Max. temperature 85°C for the EC supply
  • Recommended maximum temperature in the EC supply to prevent limescale deposits:
  • Maximum ratio between EF/EC or EC/EF pressures: 2:1
  • Minimum temperature difference between EC and EM for optimal operation: 15°C
  • Minimum flow rate for optimal operation:
    - 4 l/min (1/2")
    - 6 l/min (3/4")

Construction:

  • Non-dezincifying brass body, chrome-plated
  • Removable male fittings
  • Teflon-coated to limit limescale buildup
  • With graduated knob - User-adjustable
  • Stainless steel spring, PSU valve
  • EPDM seals
  • Stainless steel spring
  • ABS control knob
  • The mixers are supplied with check valves and filters; the materials used for the mechanism components were selected for their excellent resistance to limescale buildup

Anti-scald feature:

If the cold water supply is interrupted, the flow of mixed water stops instantly.

Anti-"cold shower" function:

Thermal shock protection: instant shut-off in the event of a hot water outage
