Initially, it recirculates water through the boiler to help raise the temperature (Figure 1). When the boiler temperature reaches the setpoint of the Thermovar-combi cartridge (61°C or 72°C), the module mixes the return water from the buffer tank or the system return with the recirculation flow to maintain the return temperature to the boiler (Figure 2). Finally, when the return temperature from the tank or the system is sufficiently high, there is no longer any mixing with the recirculation flow (diagram 3). In the event of a power outage or circulator failure, circulation occurs via the thermosiphon effect (diagram 4).
