ST543 thermal safety valves for boilers equipped with a safety coil or a DHW tank

Function:

Thermal safety valves are used to protect solid fuel boilers.
In the event of accidental overheating, the boiler is cooled by opening the valve, which evacuates the hot water. The valve alone
cannot regulate the boiler temperature.

The installation of a heating safety valve remains mandatory.

Construction:

  • Die-cast brass body, chrome-plated
  • Stainless steel spring
  • EPDM seals
  • 3/4" F connections

The ST543 valve is used on boilers equipped with a hot water tank or heat exchanger.
When the temperature limit is reached, the valve opens. It drains the hot water from the DHW tank, which is then replenished with cold water from the mains supply.
