High-temperature self-cleaning filter

Application:

Hot water filter with countercurrent self-cleaning system suitable for drinking water. It has a filtering capacity of 90 microns. Maximum operating temperature 80°C.

Removes coarse limescale particles. Compatible with RAH HOT cartridges with AISI 316 stainless steel thread.

This filter is manufactured in compliance with UNI EN 1717: Protection against pollution of drinking water in domestic water installations.

Max. temperature: 80°C. Max. pressure: 8 bar.

Functional features :

  • Operating pressure range: 0.5 bar to 8.6 bar ;
  • Minimum upstream pressure for backwash operation: 1.5 bar;
  • 6.5 < pH < 9.5 ;
  • Fluid temperature range +4°C to +80°C ;
  • Maximum flow 5.3 m³/h at 3 bar upstream pressure.
  • Pressure drop 0.41 bar at maximum flow.
  • 3/4" connection with BSP cylindrical thread, can be sealed with flat gaskets or TEFLON® tape;
  • Mounting recommended by flexible hoses to avoid stress on the filter's upper body.

Installation precautions :

  • Installation in a frost-free room (+4°C) and protected from excessive heat (+35°C);
  • This device must remain easily accessible for maintenance and operation of the isolation valves.
  • Install check valves;
  • Protect with a pressure reducer up to 7 bar;
  • Install a water hammer arrester upstream and/or downstream according to the instructions included in the packaging.
  • Use the drain kit to connect the drain to the sewer or to a sump.
  • Protect against any risk of water damage in the event of tank rupture: floor drain, sump, isolation valves, ....

Standardization :

  • This filter is manufactured in compliance with UNI EN 1717: Protection against pollution of drinking water in domestic water distribution systems.
