2-way directional zone valves, to be equipped with the TE220SCF electrothermal actuator and its detachable fittings.

Function:

Zone valves automatically direct the heat transfer fluid in heating circuits.
When paired with an electrothermal actuator controlled by a room thermostat, they automatically shut off the portion of the hydraulic circuit that is not in use.
These zone valves are designed to control small circuits or heat emitters directly.

How it works:

In response to a signal from the room thermostat, the electrothermal head opens or closes the zone valve.
The valve opens under the action of the expandable wax thermostatic element, which is directly controlled by a PTC resistor; this automatically limits the flow rate to maintain the set temperature.
When de-energized, the device is "normally closed."
