TEMPERATURE RAISING KIT WITH 3-WAY VALVES

Function:

The temperature enhancement kit is a hydraulic unit for solid-fuel boiler systems with storage tanks. The hydraulic unit ensures optimum stratification of the storage tanks and a high boiler return temperature, thus boosting efficiency. Pollutant emissions and condensation are avoided, extending the boiler's service life.

The temperature increase kit includes:

An energy-saving circulation pump, a thermal charging valve with insulation shell, a non-return valve, a thermometer for reading the return temperature and three ball valves for easy installation and maintenance.

Hydraulic unit operation during the different combustion phases:

  1. HEATING PHASE: Water circulates between the boiler and the hydraulic unit as the boiler temperature rises.
  2. LOADING PHASE: The thermal valve begins to open, allowing the return water from the storage tank to mix with the flow water before returning to the boiler. The return temperature to the boiler is kept constant.
  3. FINAL PHASE: The thermal valve is fully opened and the automatic balancing valve is kept closed. The result is optimum heat transfer from the boiler, with the pump's full capacity used to discharge water from the boiler and charge the storage tank.
  4. THERMOSIPHON CIRCULATION: When combustion has ceased and the circulator has stopped, the hot water remaining in the boiler is charged into the storage tank as long as the thermal valve remains open. When the boiler has cooled down, the thermal valve closes. The non-return valve prevents reverse circulation from the storage tank to the boiler.
