Construction:

  • Screw-on model
  • 3/4", 1" brass mounting tee FF
  • Body and cover: Polymer reinforced with 30% fiberglass
  • Filter screen: High-density polymer
  • With magnetic ring: 2 magnets of 2600 Gauss

Functional characteristics:

  • Maximum operating pressure: 3 bar
  • Temperature range: 0 / 90°C
  • Fluid: water, water + glycol (max. 30%)
  • Air evacuation via manual bleed valve
  • DIRTMAG units are equipped with an adjustable flush valve with a nipple.

Installation:

The mounting tee allows installation on a horizontal or vertical pipe. The direction of flow is indicated and must be respected.
The rotating nut allows for quick and easy installation without risk of error, with a gasket provided.
The mounting wrench is provided.


Operating principle:

The flow speed is slowed down inside the body, suspended particles are separated on contact with the internal grid and fall to the bottom of the bowl
. Metal particles are trapped by the two magnets.
Particles up to 5 µm are stopped.
The ring carrying the two magnets is very easy to remove.
Flushing can be carried out while the installation is in operation.
