Features:

The SPU 220 solenoid valve is a direct-acting 2/2 stainless steel solenoid valve. It is designed for automatic shut-off of unpressurized aggressive fluid systems. Standard construction with stainless steel body and internal parts and FPM diaphragm. Normally closed operation, no differential pressure required.

Recommendation:

Solenoid valves do not act as check valves. A normally closed solenoid valve at rest can be crossed by a counterflow. In this case, a check valve should be installed. Solenoid valves used with hard water and kept energized for long periods of time may become clogged with scale, blocking their operation. Please consult us for this type of application.
