Construction:

Flow measurement is based on the Venturi effect.
Supplied with pressure taps.
Stainless steel orifice plate.
Mechanism specially designed to prevent scaling.
Valves with brass bodies made of a dezincification-resistant alloy.

  • Max. operating pressure: 16 bar
  • Temperature: -20 °C / 120 °C
  • Glycol: max. 50%

Operating principle:

The balancing valve is a hydraulic device that regulates the flow of fluid passing through it.
Regulation is achieved by operating the handle, which controls the movement of the valve plug to adjust the fluid flow. The flow rate is determined by the Dp value measured between the two ports on the valves.

Advantages of balanced circuits:

  1. The system’s terminal emitters operate correctly, heating/cooling/humidifying without unnecessary energy loss while ensuring optimal comfort.
  2. The circulators operate within their operating curves, minimizing the risk of overheating and premature wear.
  3. By avoiding excessively high flow velocities, noise and pipe abrasion are eliminated.
  4. Differential pressure values acting on the terminal control devices are limited, preventing them from malfunctioning.
