Operating principle:

When de-energized, the device (control + valve) is "normally closed."
When energized, the valve opens under the action of the expandable wax thermostatic element, directly controlled by a PTC resistor.
Design features The 6563 series electrothermal control is equipped with a valve opening position indicator in automatic mode, a handle for manually opening the valve, and a mechanism for returning to automatic mode when power is restored.
The presence of the manual operating handle and the automatic return from manual to automatic mode is particularly useful during the testing phase or during system maintenance to:

• perform hydraulic checks without necessarily having to connect or power the controls.
• leave the handle in the manual position after the checks are complete.

In this case, the control automatically returns to automatic mode when power is restored to the system.
