The assembly principle involves compressing the plastic tube between a fluted insert and a non-symmetrical cylindrical outer ring. Flaring
and crimping operations must only be performed using the specific tools provided by the manufacturer. The PINS manual crimping tool is recommended for assembly.
PER/PB pipes expand (or contract) much more than metal pipes. Taking these phenomena into account is essential to ensure the longevity of the installation. Industry
standards (CPT Specification 2808 V2 - November 2011) require:
