Applications:

  • Class 2: 6 bar – Domestic hot water supply (and domestic cold water supply at 20 °C / 10 bar),
  • Class 4: 6 bar – Low-temperature radiators, underfloor heating,
  • Class 5: 6 bar – High-temperature radiators,
  • "Chilled water" class: 10 bar.

Technical specifications:

The various components of the fittings are made of turned or die-cast brass, designated CW614 and CW617, respectively.

Installation:

The assembly principle involves compressing the plastic tube between a fluted insert and a non-symmetrical cylindrical outer ring. Flaring
and crimping operations must only be performed using the specific tools provided by the manufacturer. The PINS manual crimping tool is recommended for assembly.

Warning:

PER/PB pipes expand (or contract) much more than metal pipes. Taking these phenomena into account is essential to ensure the longevity of the installation. Industry
standards (CPT Specification 2808 V2 - November 2011) require:

  1. measuring the impact, particularly on the network manifolds and fittings,
  2. securing all connection points by creating fixed points and ensuring that forces act along the axis of the fittings,
  3. a maximum tightening torque of 30 kN·m must be observed,
  4. to follow installation precautions; the use of tow or similar products is prohibited.
