Description:

Radial-type brass press fittings for synthetic pipes made of PER or PB. Dimensions: 12x1.1 – 16x1.5 – 20x1.9 and 25x2.3 (S-series pipes = 5 according to ISO 4065)

Applications:

  • Class 2: 6 bar - Domestic hot water supply (and domestic cold water supply at 20 °C / 10 bar)
  • Class 4: 6 bar - Low-temperature radiators, underfloor heating,
  • Class 5: 6 bar - High-temperature radiators,
  • "Chilled water" class: 10 bar.

Technical specifications:

  • The various components of the fittings are made of turned or die-forged brass, designated CW614 and CW617, respectively.
  • The crimp sleeve is made of stainless steel.

Installation:

The assembly process involves compressing the plastic tube between a fluted insert and a stainless steel ring through mechanical deformation using a crimping tool and a set of jaws. Flaring
and crimping operations must only be performed using specific tools. The electro-hydraulic crimping tools, model PINPFL000000000 or PINK20000000000, and their accessories are recommended for performing the assembly.

With professional tools (mains-powered or battery-powered), this type of fitting allows for very quick installation without any physical effort on the part of the installer.
