Functional characteristics:

  • Working pressure 4 bar (for higher pressures, see CE 10 bar range)
  • Test pressure 6 bar
  • Operating temperature -10°C / +99°C
  • Capacity 80 to 1000 liters depending on model
  • Pre-inflated to 2 bar (80 to 150 liters), 2.5 bar (200 to 800 liters), and 1.5 bar (1000 liters)
  • For heating and air conditioning

Construction:

  • Red lacquered steel body
  • 3/4" male steel connection (80 to 400 liters), 1" (500 to 800 liters) and 1"1/2 (1000 liters)
  • SBR membrane according to DIN 4807 (except 1000 liter model: bladder tank)

Installation:

Bypass connection to the circuit, if possible on the return, without any shut-off device between the circuit and the tank.

1000 L vessel: bladder model, connection on the underside, upper port to be plugged 1/2".

Essential precaution: the installation of a closed expansion tank in a heating or air conditioning system must always be accompanied by the installation of a suitable safety valve. See valves
