CSA ATHENA Series PN 10/16 Flanged Stainless Steel Float-Type Cast Iron Valve

Application:

Piston-balanced float valve with a single seat that maintains a constant tank level regardless of upstream pressure fluctuations and shuts off the supply when the maximum level is reached. Piston
design ensures excellent reliability and high performance. 3-way
ductile iron body, allowing for either straight or angled outlet.

  • Water supply and distribution networks
  • Minimum and maximum permissible temperature Ts: 0°C to +60°C
  • Maximum pressure Ps: 16 bar
  • During installation, ensure that the float is free to move
  • Do not cut the lever arm

Available in:

  • Cast iron valve with stainless steel float, PN10/16 flanged from DN50 to DN150, PN16 flanged from DN200 to DN300

Piston with self-cleaning technology (patent pending) to reduce the buildup of contaminants and, consequently, maintenance requirements.
A large stainless steel float is connected to the lever via a stainless steel tube through which a vertical force is applied.
The valve modulates and throttles the flow rate in proportion to consumption; precise control and perfect sealing are guaranteed even at very low pressure levels.
Thanks to the balanced seat, the movement of the plug and its performance are not affected by fluctuations in upstream pressure, and transient phenomena as well as overpressures are prevented.
