VRCD PN 10/16 Cast Iron Pressure Regulating Valve, CSA Series 

Application:

The CSA direct-acting pressure reducing valve, model VRCD, reduces and stabilizes the downstream pressure at a constant value regardless of variations in flow rate and upstream pressure. It can be used for water, air, and fluids in general with a maximum operating pressure of 40 bar.

  • Drinking water distribution networks, irrigation, cooling systems, fire protection networks
  • Minimum permissible temperature Ts: +0°C
  • Maximum permissible temperature Ts: +60°C
  • Maximum permissible pressure Ps: 40 bar upstream
  • Adjustment range: 1.5 to 6 bar downstream

Available in:

  • CSA VRCD cast iron pressure-stabilizing reducer with PN10/16 flanges, DN50 to DN150, outlet 1.5–6 bar

Innovative self-cleaning piston technology (patent pending) designed to improve performance while reducing maintenance requirements.
The moving part consists of three stainless steel components manufactured using CNC machines to ensure maximum accuracy in pressure reduction and enhanced sliding precision, thereby minimizing friction and the risk of leaks.
Upstream/downstream pressure ports for DN1/4" BSP pressure gauges.
Large expansion chamber ensuring better resistance to cavitation.
